There are five regions identified as Blue Zones: Okinawa (Japan); Sardinia (Italy); Nicoya (Costa Rica); Icaria (Greece); and Loma Linda (California). Blue Zone diets include very little to no processed food at all. They are very rich in antioxidants and include at least two vegetables in every meal.
